| In 1999, Ken
Greenlee founded a company called Bath-and-Body.com. He
knew that there were a multitude of companies offering similar
products and realized that the products he offered would have to
meet or exceed the quality of his competitors. After
months of working with chemists, suppliers and survey groups, he
assembled a collection of top-quality personal care products
that were truly excellent.
The challenge then became to
communicate that superior quality online. This definitely was a
challenge for an industry whose customers traditionally touched,
smelled and closely examined each product before making a
purchase. The solution was to provide customers not only
with a thorough description of each product's benefits but also
to showcase each product with the most realistic and
eye-catching product images possible.
As a life-long photography
enthusiast, Ken welcomed the opportunity to photograph such a challenging
subject -- round, shiny bottles.
Ken supplemented his existing photography skills by taking
additional studio photography courses, upgrading his photography
equipment, shooting thousands of product photographs and
spending
countless hours editing them for Bath-and-Body.com and
WholesaleBathProducts.com (the company's wholesale division).
After completing the sale of
Bath-and-Body.com, Ken turned his full attention
to helping some of his former wholesale customers with their own
product photography and replaced his photography equipment with
professional-grade studio equipment, cameras and editing
software. He truly loves what he does now and works very
closely with his customers to make sure they love it, too. |
